Daraa has fallen under the occupation of the criminals of Al-Assad’s regime and Iran’s sectarian militias, with unprecedented military and political support from the Russian Occupation forces. However, the revolution has not fallen in return, even though the revolutionaries have deployed from Houran, the cradle of their revolution, and left behind them the destruction caused by the brutal attacks of Al-Assad’s forces and their allies. The scenes of devastation represent a tragic memorial for the material loss, while no memorial can represent the human sacrifice of the people of Houran, except for the belief that the revolution is an idea, and ideas never die, they always triumph.
Horrya Press has documented part of the destruction of the civilians’ dwellings in Daraa, the cradle of the Syrian Revolution, which, however painful, did not affect the revolutionaries’ resolve and their hope that someday they will be free from the criminal Regime, the Russian and Iranian occupations.
